I have played both Heldenleben and Mahler 1 without an assistant and it
wasn't fun however it is hard to find rest in both of those pieces.

Horn in H is in some ways the easiest of transpositions, because of how
the tritone works. Written C is played f# and a written F# is played C. If
you are great with tritones then it won't be a problem.
I would also suggest playing along with a recording. The first horn part in
this movement is

I still find it funny when other horn players talk about travel and Ive had
the same thing happen to me. Probably the worse is getting a seat right behind
first class
so that you are last to board.this means that the attendant taking
tickets has a clear view of you and your gear. You really
