I just received and played through the Foerster horn
concerto and found no reason to double or triple
tongue, not a difficult piece at all. It is not my
fav, but a good piece of music for it's style. One
concerto I would prefer is the Hindemith concerto for
lyric combined with slight technique.

I always ask for a photo and other small information,
just to make these little scamers work.. Most
recently I recieved a photo set with the whole African
family, sitting on their Jeep, a actual photo of the
Money(!!) with a caption, see how safe your money
is?

anyways, so bells up is not really a big
deal. For players who rest the bell on the leg, the
movements maybe are a bit more involved.
Absolutly keep the hand in the bell, unless the
composition calls for something different.

to a falsetto throat shape when rising up to the
high range, while keeping this open feeling of good
low range habits.
The low range IS the key to the high range(period),
