The harmonics are exactly the same for the two horns; the Bb side is just a perfect fourth higher. About ten years ago a complete chart was published in the HORN CALL. Virginia Thompson, past president of the IHS compiled it. Try to get a copy from her or find the HORN CALL it was in. CORdi

Dawn, There is a technique in horn playing called double tone or doppelton where one hums a pitch and plays a pitch at the same time and a chord will happen if everything works right. Many composers have used this in the solo horn literature, Weber being one of the best known. Take a look at the F
