Thank you all for the responses! I have aggregated your reactions and will
communicate them with the Dutch Red Cross.
I conclude that it is important a Relief organisation setting up mapping
tasks is committed to interaction with the community, providing feedback

for the American Red Cross and am with the British Red Cross and MSF
leading the Missing Map efforts. I would love to walk them through how we
view this stuff from a preparedness and resilience perspective.

team by having

It is not always clear that mapping helps. Stating your contribution helps
real people in this crisis or your contribution helps save lives is focused

Hello fellow humanitarian mappers,
Today I attended a missingmaps event in the Netherlands. With my
OpenStreetMap experience and HOT task experience, I was asked to give some
hands on instructions, and I helped out in the classrooms.
There where approx. 40 people present, mapping tasks 1076 and
