I temporarily changed the pattern generation in ProjectionGridTool.cpp
to a fixed pattern:
for (int x = 0 ; x width ; x++)
{
for (int y = 0 ; y height ; y++)
{
// red
pix_start[0] = x%255;
// green
pix_start[1] = x%255;

I think you misunderstood - with your fix requiring 1.41.0, I cannor try
to rebuild, because my Fedora F10 does not provide this version. I had
offered to re-run my build attempt to point out the thread issues, but I
believe you figured that out nicely. :)
