I have been using Hugin since version 7. I just downloaded 2011.0.1
and the default control point detector is not found. Panomatic works
just fine.

I have two problems, both enblend related.
1) When I use hugin 2011 to stitch a largish panorama (25000 by 6000
pixels) from 40 or so 10 MB tiff images, I get an enblend cannot
allocate memory error. My image is a hand-held two row panorama. When
enblend calls malloc() it reports that can't find

I started the stitching process within Hugin using all default
settings except for image size and crop. Enblend and enfuse were noted
as found; 42 warped image files were saved in fairly short order and
then enblend was invoked by Hugin. The enblend flags were set by

Harry,
Thank you again and again for all the work you do keeping hugin up to
date and for your rapid response. I hope your vacation is great.
I am using build 2010.1.0.38ed0587798b. I unchecked the use
alternative enblend program box. Everything in my hugin preferences is
per defaults except I
I just went to sourceforge and downloaded enblend-enfuse-4.0-mac and
ran enblend-openmp from the command line with exacly the same flags as
from hugin. The blended panorama stitched together in less than 2
hours, so problem solved at least for me

Hi
I, too, get a stitch error for HDR from 4 bracketed exposures of the
same scene using the same build. The error I get says the .exr file
format is not recognized.

Both zenith and nadir are problematic to align properly.
I was writing of editing, as in masking, paiting, etc. In my use I don't

Re: Editing the zenith or nadir of a panosphere is a nightmare;
Both zenith and nadir are problematic to align properly. It's not all
that hard to get the zenith within hugin by manually placing zenith
shots without control points. The nadir, however, is especially
difficult not only to align,
I have been using hugin for about 3 years and follow the development
with a lot of interest.
It would be good if one were to be able to select and move individual
and groups of images in the fast preview window. This would be useful
in the case of sky images with no coherent set of control
