I need to send data to another site.
Up until now we used 3480's. Now the other site wants to get rid of their
3480's.
What they want to do is send us a 3590 cartridge that was taken out of their
Silo. Since they have 3590E's we cannot write to these tapes (We have 3590B's).

virtual drive is defined as a 3490E. The effect of this is when there is a
HSM recall, the entire contents of the IBM 3490E is transferred back to the
VTS disk before the recalled file within the HSM file can be

Perhaps they are making block calls (calling DFSORT with a number of
records) instead of calling DFSORT
