HI,
I have had a good look round and I cannot find a manual to describe the
command/JCL etc for CSQUTIL.
Anyway can someone point me at the manual.
Can someone let me have sample JCL to forward an MQ message from the top of one
queue to another and at the same time save in a Dataset.
Thanks

Probably but they already have what they need, just use SQL to extract and
write the records using a noddy written in just about anything.
They must do this themselves all the time anyway.

My questions are:
1. Any ideas why SDSF takes appox 90 minutes (12 EXCPs + 31mins CPU) to
read and write out the data and Filemaster takes about 3 minutes to read
25million recs and write about 1.5million?
2. Is there any way to make SDSF extract faster?

I've done it! I well I wrote a program to write a record then delete it.
Just thought that something so simple and obvious would be a standard

One could also use IDCAMS for the record creation.
