Obviously, you folks don't follow SAG-L, where we've learned to
ignore most of Anton's flame bait :)

But, shouldn't a real NL imply a newline but not a carriage return?

If I'm correct, the new function with z/OS 1.7 is of limited value for

Wherever possible, convert to SMS, Extended and stripped formats. Use

Using Softcopy Librarian, I have all (PDF and Bm) supported versions
of the z/OS manual (1.4 to 1.6) plus the CICS and Cobol manuals I need
in 6G. Search with Bookmanager, print with PDF. It's not worth the
controversy.
As soon as 1.7 is available to Softcopy Librarian, I'll download them
I'm back from wherever . I meant encrypt the files from the
application. HSM and DSS don't quite do the encryption yet, looks like
they are close. And Innovation does it now.

Just guessing, but the HMC does periodically dial out and call home.
And the way you currently sync the clocks is to set the HMC clock, which
sets the SE clocks.
Today, you then POR to set the hardware clock. If they adapt the ETR
code to query the SE which is set via the HMC dial out, well
I've got a PROGxx parser, but it's written Natural and uses Entire

Any idea when/if it will be fixed. I've been accused of
curmudgeonliness before, but I really prefer the TN3270 interface to
ibmlink for basic tasks. Like AST, SRD, SIS

Ed Jaffe's point was subtle, but on point. I would estimate that
SHARE's non mainframe content is close to 40 or even 50% these days.
Anyway, a lot more than one or two sessions.
