PSP Bucket for 2107DEVICE (DS8300)

hello to all, We plan to migrate from ESS800 disk-bay to a new DS8300. we are currently in a zOS1.7 on z10BC. I took a test in HCD, the Device Type 2107 is here ! Are we obliged to apply the PSP Bucket to have support of the DEVICE 2107 (DS8300) or is it already included under zOS? Thank you
