Kees, given that the health checker still flags an exception when you place the sysplex and the CFRM CDS on the same volume, I wouldn't do it, even with PAV. Remember that ASM doesn't support HiperPAV (as of 1.8). Meaning that there must be some sort of support in the operating system for 'spec

Hello group, Manual z/OS V1R8.0 MVS Setting Up a Sysplex still states that the Primary Sysplex couple dataset and the Primary CFRM couple dataset should reside on different volumes. I suppose this was valid 10 years ago, but is it still with current modern devices with PAV, large caches etc. et
