You said, that the ++FEATURE and ++PRODUCT records are in the same file than the product MCS (++FUNCTION etc.) itself. I think at least in my case that's not true. I found both in the same directory SMPPTFIN. While the normal MCS records are in (in my example) S006.CBCACHE.HPRF450.SMPMCS.pax.Z
