We always have issues during DR with licence keys. Worst vendor is Compuware, convoluted process and activation procedure. We like to expose "novice" users to the DR process, it's a test of documentation and process, not systems skills. One vendor had the cheek to tell us to give more warning. I

My boss on the government side would pull tapes and tell key people that they were dead, then have everyone else continue the test without the pulled tapes or "dead" personnel. That made for a much more reasonable test, since in a real disaster bad things happen. -- Shmuel (Seymour J.) Metz h

Hi, We have completed the migration of one of the TEST LPARS to z/OS 2.3 the last week and I notice the TSO/E PROFILE PREFIX settings have changed. Basically the PREFIX value is blanked out and even after updating it, the value is not saved across logons. I confirmed on another LPAR running 2.1
