In my previous life, I used to work with tso prof nointercom and instead
wrote a small rexx to capture messages using outtrap and listbc command and
store them in an ispf table. I was able to read them and delete them. The
cons is that you don't get real time notifications.

A short update.
People that ran the program on their systems reported more products that
make use of log4j. Looks like it is quite a common issue in USS.
Lesson is that modernizing the mainframe, modernizes the vulnerabilities as

CICS can produce the related SMF records. Some monitors such as omegamon
also produce transaction usage history that can save you some SMF records.
Some products, such as zSecure can read VBS files as well.
Last thing, Rexx EXECIO can process VBS files.
