Well I thought I had this. I used Outlook to send a plain text e-mail to a Gmail address and looked at the header. Aha! It had the three lines just like the HTML e-mail except that the middle line was (duh!) Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; So I changed my program to send that, co
