If you set up a new privilege class, I cant think of any way you could restrict the target of the command to specific userids. It sounds more like you want to create a service virtual machine that can receive requests for share changes, validate them, and perform them on behalf

Loren, Any drive at an address that is included in the IOCP can be used. Since you are loading from the HMC, all you need do is to put its address in as the load address. Once running, DDR can use any available address. It is not restricted to the symbolic addresses defined by CMS.
