So I guess my memory of RSCS as an IPL'able system
not running under GCS (or any other o/s) is from VM/SP 3?
That would have been RSCS V1. RSCS V2 was the first to require GCS.

I also took awhile for VM/VTAM to convert from the old method to SES/E

If what I really want to accomplish is to leave my current VTAM

Re: Another VTAM and SFS Installation question
We have a new ZVM 5.2 system. The VTAM we are using came from ZVM 3.1

Are there instructions for installing and servicing VTAM into a
filepool?
I cannot locate any in the IBM manuals.
Thanks in advance.
