I do not believe that a few minutes - 5 minutes loose, 5 minutes "see the
ice with a rider", 5 minutes competing (with another 5 minutes if the
horse is in a final) once a year or less will cause long term dmage in a
fit horse.

decided that he and I really are not an ideal match. He's my first

get it in their ears. My icies don't. I think its cause the hair in
their ears is so thick nothing can just drop inside. We have some
mange that is deadly and incurable and i think that is from mites.

We got the results of the PM - NOT grass sickness, thank goodness! He
had a cyst the size of a grapefruit in his gut, which had burst, and
also had a piece of small intestine (dead) wrapped around it. The
strange thing was he didn't show any of the classical colic symptoms -
but at least it was not
