arent akhel tekes in the foundation of the thoroughbred breed? they
have those withers and the head shape.

I had a throwback Akhal Teke growing up. I called her La Bruja (the witch)
because she was so ugly, but even though she was only about 13.2
Akal-tekes come in a variety of colors including perlino, palamino,
buckskin, bay, and the really popular golden chestnut color (I don't know if
they call it anything different). Thet all "glow" but some colors look
better than others. The glow has to do with the structure of their hair.

when I saw an akhel teke it was at a horse expo for breed demo and my
exact thought when i laid eyes on it "my gosh someone has brought a
broke down scrawney rescue horse up here and somehow polished it up".
It looked about like my Gallant Boy. All bones and a scrawney neck.

Akal Tekes come in many different colors, including perlino, palomino,
and cremello,

Akhal Tekes don't have to be any particular color, although that metallic
coppery color is the one people usually
