So now Ubuntu gets the blame for a virus in Windows as well :)
I had already responded to a similar request earlier; I have LBP 2900
working at home (PCLinuxOS) with better functionality than in M$! I had
bought this printer for home specifically to use on Linux and it did not
disappoint me the least. Of course there were starting hiccups - like you
noted it

Hi Raru well i'll suggest you to buy Linux For you.Its Rs 100 but i
recommend you buy this month's issue it has a DVD with a video
tutorial to use GIMP (Meet the Gimp).
And also i suggest you start by learning latex it is a very usefull
typesetting software...and also learn how to use vi or emacs
