I had already responded to a similar request earlier; I have LBP 2900
working at home (PCLinuxOS) with better functionality than in M$! I had
bought this printer for home specifically to use on Linux and it did not
disappoint me the least. Of course there were starting hiccups - like you
noted it

I believe, the same driver should work for a variety of LBP printers
including 3000 model. Detailed documentation comes with the driver; simply
follow the instruction and you are on your

I got a similar situation for our LBP 2900 printer(Ubuntu 9.10)..After some
extensive googling and some guts instinct i installed some driver and
printer got detected and driver got instaleed..But its not printing ,shows
only processing and continues to shows that only..I had never tried it

Which version did you use? There are many drivers available in web, it
would be a great help if you can give me a link to the driver which
works fine. I hope the principal is ready
