If you buy a laptop preloaded with Windows 8, the hard disk will be
partitioned as GPT and the BIOS will be an UEFI one.
1. Format your entire hard disk and install Windows 8 on your own with 2

I am using feedly to collate my rss feeds and provide it as a dashboard.
For some reason part of the tamil content(headings) is not showing up
correctly. Has anyone encountered the same problem ? Is there a fix ?

Create a separate partition for Linux as usual. You can install Linux
without any problems (latest Linux distributions support UEFI so no
need to worry), if older Linux distribution before installing change
from UEFI mode to BIOS.

Does any one have experiences to share on out of the box 'drop-in' replacement
