Loadlin works only from pure dos mode. Under Windows 95/98 u can ask the os
to exit into dos mode and load loadlin. But under Windows 2000/NT/XP this
doesn't work. I don't know about Me, but I suppose that it won't work under
Me too, although Me is based on Win98.

I dont know if you can resize the linux partitions without reinstalling
the linux again. I dont think there are any partition resizers for linux

Its really painful to restart windoZ to boot in linux. I remember how
cool it used to work with win95.
and it shows still people have dual boot partitions and no-one is yet
ready or really want to shift
Or better still - use the webmin module for wvdial - an excellent and simple tool.

I am looking for a good frontend for wvdial. I searched freshmeat and
downloaded 3 front-ends, namely :- Kwvdial, Qtwvdial and gppp.
Try nagios - erstwhile netsaint - it is a network monitoring system, but
management functions can be built into them, through additional coding and
scripting.

Issue here is not, we can resize or not without reinstalling. Issues is,

And also, as Supreet pointed out, deathly slow. Don't do it unless
you absolutely have no other option left.

I think you can create a file as a swap file and mount it as swap, there by
increasing the swap. This helps you in increasing the swap without resizing
the disks or reinstalling linux. I dont remember the commands as of now, but
I think this is a good way of adding additional swap.
