dude...the command asks fort the password and then says the user is not a
sudoer...and in the root it does not recognize the command

Yes, from the windows CD go to the repair mode. Just search for fixboot
and fixmbr you should get a lot of results.

this is not a entry...the screen just shows these two lines and nothing
else...no option to boot,no progress.nothing

1. I had a XP installed on my C: but it got corrupted sometime back,but i
needed some data on the desktop.
2. so i installed another XP on D:,thus having a option to boot from either
of the two windows(one corrupt)
3. now i formatted C: and installed fedora core 6(s
