I also had screws in the drive caddy that were just too big and preventing the caddy settling in right. My local friend helped out there too. I just installed 10.3 and will complete the rest today. I'm loathe to take it apart again to fix the Airport antenna cable but I know I won't be satisfied

I was encouraged by this statement, but I have my ibook booted on the installer disk for tiger right now connected to the iMac in target disk mode, but the installer doesn't see the iMac's hard drive. I guess I'll have to install the HD into my BW and install from there if I want this

Good thing I'm stubborn. I tried it a couple more times and finally it took. Tiger is now installed, and I have it ethernetted into my base station and I'm installing tiger updates right now. Once the system is all up to date I can disconnect it and go about setting up all the user
