preventing the caddy settling in right. My local friend helped out

Good thing I'm stubborn. I tried it a couple more times and finally
it took. Tiger is now installed, and I have it ethernetted into my
base station and I'm installing tiger updates right now. Once the
system is all up to date I can disconnect it and go about setting up
all the user
