You can either go the whole netboot route or you can just use a
retail OS9 CD to install OS9 "over" OSX. If i remember right it warns
it will wipe out the newer OS but it doesn't

Look on ebay and whereever else for Mac OSX Tiger. You want a CD set
if the iMac doesn't have a DVD drive.
