Thanks Clark. If I download the NetBoot image do I burn it CD and then
boot from the CD or is it installed as a part of the OS X?
If its the later will it give me the ability to start the OS9
environment from OS X?
- is that right or do I actually install NetBoot

successfully installed a new HDD, setup Mac OS X 10.3 and applied
all of the software updates.
The current firmware level (Boot ROM Version) is 4.1.3F2
I have the 4.1.9 firmware update but it wont install because Mac OS 9

You can either go the whole netboot route or you can just use a
retail OS9 CD to install OS9 over OSX. If i remember right it warns
it will wipe out the newer OS but it doesn't
