That indicates that no bootable system can be found. Perhaps your
hard drive has died, perhaps it has been corrupted, or perhaps the
drive
That sounds like a possible HDD error. Can you boot from your original
iMac DVD?

The first thing I would do, *especially* if we're talking about an original
tray-loading Imac 233/233/333mz machine, is zap the PRAM.?

I have an iMac that, up to a few weeks ago, worked perfectly. I got
this iMac from my cousin, I just had to get a keyboard and mouse. I
also bought an Imation super disk drive and it worked well. I put a
new battery in. How do i go about getting it up and running again. All
ideas will be welcome.

If it is a 1.6 or 1.8 GHz G5 iMac
Maybe it is the power supply or motherboard...
