server.
The problem is that when telneting to it, it breaks the connection
immediately after it is initiated (even before sending the SMTP greeting).

base email will not allow you to add an email with a period before the @
sign. You can from the Administrator console, just not from the web based.

Just so that you know, the .lst file is what IMail uses to send messages to the list and the .txt file is what is used by IMail for subscribing and unsubscribing users.

default -dash in order for sent messages to correctly be saved into the Sent mailbox.

I am new to the Imail world and I am trying to setup Imail to run off of my sql 2000
server. I have recently setup the sql server with the correct tables that Imail needs.
The problem is I can write to the tables through the user interface but when I try to
have a user login to that account
