It's near impossible, most decent routers for instance will not allow IP address that is supposed to be on one side of an interface to talk from the other side of that interface. There is also a problem of getting the spoofed packet to your network in the first place, it has to be routed there.

Jesus... I've gotten it about 500 times today in my inbox. I had to shutdown my mail because of the popup from my antivirus several times a minute. Almost all of mine have come from msu.edu addresses, I don't even know anybody at msu. AARRGHHH!!! -
