I freshly installed a Cyrus IMAPD 2.2.8 MURDER backend server on OpenBSD 3.5 sparc64 and I get everyday the following messages:

I have found this in my /var/log/auth.log:
pam_tally: pam_get_uid; no such user test
it seems that pam_tally just uses /etc/passwd and can only use this file
are there any other solutions to lock down imap users after 3 attempts ???

Ok i have not seen a Mac OS 9 workstation actually. That must be
Outlook and not Outlook Express. I have forgot to specify my client use
too Entourage. Entourage support IMAP ? If yes it is a big relief for me
:-) I will check a workstation rapidly.

figure out I need and write a perl script to upload sieve scripts for all the
affected users.
