Hello All,
I have cyrus-sasl 1.5.24 and cyrus 2.0.16 on FreeeBSD 4.1.1.
Cyrus itself works (telnet localhost imap - says that everything
is ok), and i even can log in to. But i can't run cyradm, it says:
kudr# /usr/local/bin/cyradm
Can't load '/usr/local/lib/
Hi,
Bingo! Just found the error...
Just to keep a documentation on the mailing list:
cyradm fails when trying to open "/dev/tty" (my
/dev/tty had permission 622). Changing it to 666
solves the problem. The code that fails is below:
if (!defined($opts{-password})) {
I have no idea. but maybe you want
try my small script, (modify please) have you seen maillog/messages log.
i use cyrus 2.0.16 too, but have no problem like you.
download IMAP::Admin first from search.cpan.org

Try #cyradm -u cyrus -auth login localhost
IMAP Password:xxx

have you create cyrus password, if you use sasl:
#sasldblistuser
#saslpasswd cyrus
Password:xxx
by root.

Hi,
I'm stuck on this problem for a while (hope someone
can give me a solution)
When I call "cyradm localhost" I got the following
message:
$cyradm localhost

Hi,
I'm trying to install Cyrus 2.0.16. Before; I've
installed 2.0.7 and used cyradm perl script with no problem. Now I get following
error when running cyradm :
>> cyradm --user admin --auth login
hostnameperl: error in loading shared libraries:
/usr/lib/perl5/site
build cyradm properly, since when I try to start it, it
gives:
$ ./cyradm
cyradm> connect stein
imclient_connect: unknow" at
/usr/local4/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/PA-RISC1.1/Cyrus/IMAP/Admin.pm line

I am running it as cyrus user, and if I try to use command line to connect
Cyrus, by default, installs its perl in
/usr/local/lib/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux/
Most of the perl scripts need @INC modified, as in
BEGIN {
push @INC, "/usr/local/lib/site_perl/5.6.0/i386-linux/";
};
before any use statements, but cyradm works differently -
This patch ma
