As Jeremy mentioned, we are using a High-Rely hard drive backup system for our main offices. The drives are USB, so they can be hot-swapped and moved off-site and you can always upgrade to larger drives if necessary. I think these could be used in a Mac environment. Information can be found

For the districts that are being hosted or filtered through Prairie Lakes, we have had a problem with our Barracuda box. The issue has now been corrected. If you have had any issues receiving mail the last 24 hrs it was probably caused by this problem. The Barracuda was not showing any

We're not hosted by Scott, but have been having our own battles with email. IT has to do with MTU Discovery and Filtering ICMP, most of which I don't understand once you've said more than the word packet. Basically our packets are too big and of the wrong type for some mail servers (routers), so
