We recently purchased several Airline Wireless Slates for use in classrooms. I
was wondering if there is some tech person out there or a teacher currently
using these who would be willing to come and give my teachers an inservice on
how to use them. There is so much tthe slates can do, but the t

I had 2 die one day and another the next day last year. Maybe it's the
moon phase. Or maybe it's because they fired up the super collider
yesterday. Good luck though.

I am getting the error on three different machines. a 4250 and old
4100 and a color 3800.

We have replaced several in the early 4100s, but haven't had many issues
with any of the other 4xxx series. There was an issue with that
JetDirect print server. Our local HP printer guy has stated that you
can heat gun those bad nics for 20 or 30 seconds and that seems to fix
the issue. We have
I just put in a different one configure it and check. There is one model
of HP NIC that is known to be bad. All the older 4000 series in our
district have them. I can't remember the number off the top of my head.

Karl,
I see it is happening on more than one printer. Are they the same model of
printer? The common link might be the driver used to print. Maybe try to
download and install a new printer driver and see if that helps. Do the
corrupt print jobs have a lot of graphics? I would try to see what print
Karl,
swap out the jetdirect card on the bad printer for a card on a good
printer and see if it makes a difference. You will need to reset the IP
and AppleTalk (if you use Appletalk) info on the NIC.
What model printer is giving you fits?

Ok, how would I do that, never had to check a NIC in the printer
before, other than to re-seat it. I am willing to try it but need steps.

Karl,
Karl,
Check the NIC in the printer. I have seen the same issue and it was a

Ok, I think I have a nearly impossible issue to track down. I am
getting service errors on my HP printers (as in more than one). This
service error points to corrupt print jobs. I have clients using 10.5
and 10.4 with a 10.4.6 server hosting the print queues. It appears
