We also do not allow students to use email. In the past it has become more of a hassle trying to make sure and police the machines. If a student needs to use email for a college class or for some other useful reason, I set one up for them and tell them it may be monitored. This seems to be th

We have an email address for each student in grades 9-12 ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), but they don't use it. The client is Novell GroupWise, since we have Novell servers. Some teachers use it, though. We do allow students to use hotmail, yahoomail, etc. It is very hard to block all of the possible e
