I didn't make the IPv6 meeting last week so I looked over the slides.
I'm a bit concerned about the complexity of having both the 'P' bit and
the optional STP. What happens if you have some proxies which run STP,
and others that use the P-bit?
Seems a bit complex to figure out how this can work.
This question was asked during the meeting, and yes we did think through
the details.
Consider the case where you only use the P-bit scheme.
However, on each segment, there could be standard L2 bridges
which don't use NDproxy. Those L2 bridges are responsible for
