That is one point I was getting across that people have so many sources
of entertainment. I listen to stations worldwide off DVB satellite. All
I have to do is to point my Dish to IA5. I enjoy FM 94, E FM, Bangkok.
All in Thai, but the music is fun to listen to.

I saw somewhere that KOIT FM was number 1. KGO was second. KGO had been number
1. In Los Angeles the top station is a FM Spanish comtemporary music station.
KFI is fourth behind three FM stations. Up here in Portland area KEX is the top
AM station, but forth behind the top one an Adult
The 1110 signal tonight is a more subdued whistle and
is letting through a stronger signal from Bend Or
which fades up and down every few minutes.Signal cut
-off on 1100 and 1120 tells me that there's an active
carrier on 1110.To find out what KWDB is doing I'm

I think you are right. The 1053 South Korean jammer is indeed operating
with low modulation. The carrier seems to be as strong as ever, but the
noise is much weaker. This Fall/Winter/Spring I have heard JOAR Nagoya
much more often in the clear.

off the Eastern beverage, but off the WNW EWE I get Blaine WA and off
the SW EWE I get Eugene during the day. At night I have only heard their
12 watts a couple of times here.

SDTV will still be around for a long long time. First off, few
programmers are jumping up and down to go HD. Second if most did, there
is not enough space on cable systems or satellite to handle them. I
recently bought a Toshiba EDTV, better than SD, but not quite HD. It
gives me 480i/480p

I've had a Boston Acoustics HD radio at home for a couple of months now,
and haven't listened to it since the first week we got them at KSMU.
None of our local AMs have put HD on the air, and none of the FMs that
have it--my station included--is doing anything interesting with the

1150 KXMG gets out real good for only 47 watts. My favorite local station is
KOHI in St. Helens on 1600 kHs. They are only 12 watts at night. Can barely
hear them with the H-800 probe. Went to their web-site to verified they were
