Just listened to my overnight log of 1240, and have picked out weak,
but distinctive swept tone at about 0525 UTC.
Have not been able to identify anything else on 1240, not even another
station.

I think that I understand... I'll report on my mods, too. I really
do think that there is easily improvement possible in many aspects of
the Performance of Ultralights.. and I think that a lot of it is
accessible to people like me, without complete technical competency

underneath...

would stay lit, but then with the wind blowing it was hard to get the

I tuned in via WKDK's webstream to monitor what was going on and everytime
I'd ehar code or sweeptones, I'd run out into the front yard (with my
bathrobe on, LOL).. to see if i could ehar anything. .and got nothing.
When
I listened to, and recorded, the approximate 30 minute test but did not hear
any evidence of the DX Test. Hope many others were successful, though.

I think I may have heard the test. I was on the frequency from Midnight to
12:30am. At 12:15 and again at 12:25 I heard a series of fast sweeps (approx
1 sweep per second). I did not hear code or voice. I was using a Grundig
S350.
