If you listen to KTTO, just cough when they do an ID...it will sound just
like KWG. Same goes for the old KYA. It also is Sacred Heart radio.

I think the problem is as bad on FM than it is on AM. The only real
difference is that you clearly know IBOC when you hear it on AM and it is
disguised on FM.

It is overpowering AND is very subtle. There is a station down south of
Fresno on 97.1 that came in well enough to get instant RDS hits. When
KLLC/97.3 turned on IBOC, 97.1 was gone completely. When their IBOC has cut
in and out or been turned off for any kind of maintenance, the 97.1

When I was commuting north from San Jose in the pre-dawn hours, KEX IBOC was
obliterating a Hindi station on 1200 in Soquel CA. The station's primary
audience was in San Jose, so their nighttime audience was zilch due to KEX.
