Earlier with iText 2.1.5, I tried the overlay with a PDF/A-1b document

Well, I didn't know the company's PDF/A-1b had any problem to start with. I
have Acrobat Pro 9 here and that software validated those input PDF's as
valid PDF/A-1b documents and I considered them valid until you pointed the
missing tag and the specification. I am new to this stuff and am still

Sorry about that, but I don't understand what you are trying to tell me. I

Oops, that's the worst answer you could give. Your response gives me the
impression that you are taking us for granted and that's not appreciated!
Wouldn't you consider buying a license/sup

I tried googling without much luck. I am going to try again. In the mean

Bruno, Thanks for your input. I downloaded iText 2.1.5 and tried again. I
got the same errors, so I downloaded the latest iText version from SVN, but
I had compile errors when I use jre 1.5 like "cannot resolve import
javax.swing.RowSorter and import javax.swing.table.TableRowSorter". These

You're not using the most recent iText version.
This was fixed a while ago.

Hello,
I have a PDF/A-1b document that Adobe Pro 9 certifies to be a PDF/A-1b.
When I use iText to overlay some text on it, the output document is not a
