I just want to point out that despite my comments I did not make clear
that I have watched the original Tron more times than anyone should
really watch a film and don't care about the imperfections.

Yes, the idea is far fetched. It starts to fall apart if you think

We actually named software systems after TRON stuff. For example, the
MCP (Master Control Program) was the name of a major piece of the guts
at Voxeo. I haven't seen the movie, but surely will.
