A friend downloaded a file and it took it to adobe, and would not open it it
froze.
Now what?
She is not using any special software at all.

Depending on your hardware configuration, and sometimes, hardware has
nothing to do with it, Adobe will take some time to load the PDF file for
you to view and read.
What happens when you enter on a PDF file to open, is that Adobe will open
up and read the file itself first.

If that's the case, she may have a bad installation, or she may possibly
have a virus or spyware getting in the way of this file opening.
You may want to try running a virus or spyware detection tool, and try
running a registry cleaner.

Also, she might want to give Advanced Windows Care a try. You can get
this from www.iobit.com. For the free one, download the personal
