On your laptop, check the box to leave a copy of messages on the server.
This way, when you return, you can download all of your mail to your desktop,

that should remove all of your mail from the server.

I'd really prefer that the entire list digest not be posted when replying to
a message. Mailman is set to a size limit of 40 KB per message post, and

That's what I do, and it works great! Oh, by the way, most email clients
such as Outlook Express, MS Outlook, or Thunderbird can be set up to do
this.

that when your preferences are set in Digest mode, you will re-transmit the
entire digest every time you send a message using the Control R Reply
option unless the remainder of the information is deleted. The
