The only other suggestion I would have is to do a find for that keystroke. While in the list of keyboard commands for that application, do a control f and perform the keystroke for the function you want to find. Hi, I noticed this with JAWS 8 on my XP laptop. Don't have PowerPoint here on this Vista laptop, so can't try it out for the moment with JAWS 9. It's probably due to JAWS loading the information into the virtual PC cursor, which is used when viewing slide shows. Hope that helps. Chris Hallsworth

Matthew, You can assign a keystroke by opening the application you want the keystroke assigned in, then do an insert f2. This will open the Jaws manager group and you will want to type the letter K for the keyboard manager and then press enter. You will be in a list of applications at that point an
