Hi, I notice that Connexant cards are quite stubborn in terms of audio
quality. Since I've moved to Realtek I've had no problems. So I would
try and go for one of those.

I noticed also that it happens when I read a document. JAWS does not read or
if I am using skipe. I need to close jaws and restart it to make it work.
JAWS 11 has problems.

when using 11. 10 seems to work overall better for me, but one thing I've
noticed is, when I am in config manager and want to look at the list of
verbosity items to check or uncheck, Jaws only reads item number one.

Well, I reacted too early. Over the weekend I removed and re-installed I.E.
8 thinking that something was corrupted. When that did not fix the problem I
sent a note to the individual in charge of multi-media on the paper. I just
received a note back from her that a problem was corrected. It was

Hi Sherri;
Try unloading both OE and JAWS and restarting them. This usually restores
OE to normal. If this doesn't work, you nmay have to reboot
your computer to restore OE to normal. Hope this helps. Take care.

I am using Jaws 10 with Windows 2003 and Outlook Express 7 I believe. Not
sure which version. Anyway, Jaws has stopped reading the to, cc, bcc ant
subject fields. Therefore, I can't recognize any addresses and have to go to
them individually. I tried unloading Jaws and reloading it agai
Here's the problem though, The realspeek solo voices don't install into sapi
and I really miss that. I wish that they were giving out the cd's still.
