Hi Jerry, I do not know if this will work in Office 2007, but in Office 2002: from the menu bar select Insert>Symbol; select the Wingdings font and enter character number 254. This will give you a check mark. In Jaws, it will speak the check mark as "character field 254". Hope that helps. Jo
