Hi friends, I have acquired an HP 6280 printer/scanner. I am downloading the HP software now but am wondering how well it works with JAWS and accessibility if anyone has any experience? I am running Microsoft Windows 7 64 and would really like to be able to print, check the ink levels and scan

Hi You will be able to install it with no problem. Unfortunately the programs that come with it are not accessible in my experience. You can print from any program like word with out a problem. I am not sure about scanning as I have kurzweil and never needed to use the scanning software that comes

Hi Jerry. I use Kurzweil 1000 for my ocr needs, But it is very expensive. I like it though. If you are looking for a simple ocr ap do a google search for it. There are some free services where you upload your images and they convert them for you. I have not tried any of these sights however. You
