Yes if you have the sounds enabled you do. I have been tweaking my sounds because I liked my windows seven sounds better and have been substituting my Windows 7 sounds for the windows 10 sounds and am planning to create some custom themes since Windows 10 has a few more sounds than Windows 7 did.

For my two machines there is about one second difference on the SSD boot drive on the machine running 16 GB Ram and an SSD boot drive. There is about a ten second difference on the 8 GB machine with a 5400 RPM boot drive. The only time quick start comes into play for me is when I am having issues
