This is the method that works for me as well.
I've saved the steps for future reference.

Thanks, Justin. That does the trick. It does one more thing that I find useful.
When I escape out of the search results, focus is set at the message in the

I use control e, type in what I want, then hit enter. Wait a second, then
just tab three times. You should start hearing results.

David,
This is the method I also use. There's one more point. After pressing
shift-control-f, you can type the word you're looking for in the subject field
(as you say) or tab to the edit boxes for the "from" and "to" fields. What
isn't obvious is that you can also type a term to search for in
Hello Tom;
Well, I've tried different ways to do a search in outlook 2016,
The only way I can get any results is,
1, ctrl+shift+f=advance find,
Now type in a subjectline,
Or, perhaps a few words within the email,
Now press enter to start the search,
Once search is complete,
Press the f6key to vie
a major lol, but successful

Hello Tom,
You can use the OR operator. For example:
From:Brian OR From:john
The word 'OR" needs to be in upper case letters. There needs to be a space
before and after the search operator. After the From and the colon there
should be no space. If you wanted to specify from Brian Lee then you

Let's figure you're in the inbox of one of your email addresses, email
A. Shift tab to the tree view (I employ the JAWS ribbon option)
through mailboxes to find your current email address. JAWS will say
your email address and announce open. Arrow to the left, JAWS
announcing email A closed.
Shift plus control plus f works too. You can format cells
individually. You can also use the applications key to format cells.
Are you wanting to format an entire worksheet? I have no answer for
that one.

Control number 1 will also get you to the format menu, but that format menu
