Hi Jim,
It all depends on what version of Word 2010 you're running. I'm running the
standard version of Office 2010, & I don't have a Review tab in Tools /
Options.
Take care.

Jim,
Try pressing control-shift-e to turn off track changes. It's a toggle that
turns them off and on.
That should work. If not, please re-post.

Please further explain your fourth step.
You said:

It's most likely that you've unintentionally enabled "track changes". If
"track changes" is checked (it's under the Review tab), try turning it off.

As you're finding out, what we call the information bar acts inconsistently,
and I have sometimes found that the arrow keys work instead of tabs. But for
the most part, it works fine with tabs. Would you care to have other people on

Move to any cell in the row you want to delete.
Press your Applications Key.
Navigate to Delete and press enter OR Right Arrow.
Navigate down to Row and press Enter.
NOTE: If you want to delete a column, do the same except select column
instead of row.

Insert + B does get the notification bar read, but first JAWS starts

One of the more irritating aspects of Microsoft's decision to replace
dialogs with a notification bar in Internet Explorer is that JAWS seems
